This Oreo lasagna is a dream come true for chocolate lovers! Layers of rich Oreo cookie crumb crust, creamy cheesecake filling, luscious chocolate pudding, and whipped cream combine to create a no-bake dessert that’s as impressive as it is delicious. Ingredients

  • 1 package (14 ounces) regular Oreo cookies
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 16 ounces Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 package (5.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 ¾ cups cold milk

Instructions

Preparing the Oreo Crust:

  1. Begin by crushing the entire package of Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. A food processor works best for this, but you can also use a rolling pin in a ziplock bag.
  2. Set aside about 1 cup of cookie crumbs for the topping.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the remaining cookie crumbs with the melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  4. Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Refrigerate while preparing the next layer.

Creating the Cheesecake Layer:

  1. In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold in half of the thawed Cool Whip.
  3. Spread this mixture evenly over the Oreo crust. Refrigerate while making the pudding layer.

Assembling the Chocolate Pudding Layer:

  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thickened and smooth.
  2. Pour the pudding mixture evenly over the cheesecake layer. Let it set for about 10 minutes to firm up slightly.

Completing the Lasagna:

  1. Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer.
  2. Sprinkle the reserved Oreo crumbs on top for a final touch.
  3. Cover the lasagna and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set completely.

Tips for Oreo Lasagna Perfection

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate Oreos.
  • If you prefer a sweeter dessert, increase the powdered sugar in the cheesecake layer.
  • For a more intense chocolate flavor, use hot fudge sauce as a topping instead of Oreo crumbs.
  • To make this dessert ahead of time, prepare it up to the point of adding the final layer of Cool Whip. Cover and refrigerate. Add the Cool Whip and Oreo crumbs just before serving.
