The homemade ones are so flavorful that they won’t leave anyone indifferent. Be sure to try the recipe and serve the little ones with their favorite side dish.


-700 g of pork (fresh)

-300 g of beef (fresh)

-a pinch of baking soda

-1.5-2 tablespoons of starch

-0.5-1 glass of milk

-2 onions (1 onion for stewing and 1 onion for serving)

-2-3 bay leaves

-5-10 cloves of garlic

– salt to taste

-pepper (ground to taste, 10-15 peppercorns)


Method of preparation

1. You must use fresh meat. Pass the meat 2 times through the mincer with a small grid. Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

2. Add a pinch of baking soda, salt, pepper, about 1.5-2 tablespoons of starch and chopped garlic (add garlic to taste). Mixing the mince, gradually add the milk. I used a glass of milk. Mix well, cover the mince with cling film and refrigerate for a few hours.

3. Take the mince out of the fridge and prepare the little ones. Insert the sausage nozzle into the mincer and form the small ones as in the picture below. Oil your hands beforehand. You can also shape the little ones with your hands.

4. Fry the little ones over high heat on all sides until golden brown and place them in a heavy-bottomed saucepan or cauldron.

5. Cut the onion into rounds and place it on top of the small ones, sprinkle with peppercorns and bay leaves.

6. Pour boiling water on top (salt the water to taste). Cover the saucepan with a lid and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer the little ones until done, about 30 minutes.

7. The homemade ones are ready.

8. Serve the little ones with their favorite garnish. We served them with mashed potatoes.

9. The little ones can also be served with green peas and onions. They are delicious and gooey.
