Aloo Paratha Recipe

  • 400g wheat flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • Water (as needed to form dough)

  • 1 tbsp oil

Dough Method:

  1. In a bowl, combine flour and salt. Gradually add water to form a dough. Rest for 5 minutes.

  2. Drizzle oil over the dough and knead for 5 minutes. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

  3. Divide the dough into balls slightly bigger than a lemon.

  4. Flatten each dough ball and make a cavity in the center. Fill with potato stuffing, seal, and dust with flour.

  5. Cook on a hot tawa/pan with a little oil until the paratha puffs up and develops nice brown spots.
