Caramel Brownie Cheesecake

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Brownie Layer:

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions.

    • Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9-inch springform pan.

    • Bake for about 10 minutes, just until the surface sets.

  2. Add the Caramel Layer:

    • Warm the caramel sauce slightly in the microwave (about 10 seconds) to make it pourable.

    • Drizzle the caramel over the partially baked brownie layer in swirling patterns.

    • Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

  3. Prepare the Cheesecake Layer:

    • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.

    • Add the sugar gradually, mixing until well combined.

    • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

    • Stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. Assemble and Bake:

    • Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie and caramel layers in the pan.

    • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50–60 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly browned.

    • Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.

    • Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

  5. Serve:

    • Before serving, drizzle additional caramel sauce over the top for extra sweetness.
